As a Program Manager, Leah is responsible for managing multiple technical assistance contracts between MOCPHE and LPHAs. Her role involves supporting the development of Community Health Assessments and Improvement Plans, as well as efforts for PHAB and MICH accreditation, strategic planning, evaluation practices, grant writing, and community collaboration. Leah also facilitates MOCPHE collaboratives and LPHA community engagement activities, emphasizing health equity and trauma-informed approaches. Additionally, Leah leads MOCPHE's Employee Wellness Program; every month Leah leads the MOCPHE team through a new area of wellness. She is based in Kansas City and in her free time, she enjoys browsing farmers markets and playing basketball.
